Advantages:
1. Can do conversion and merging of different format files within M-Files without any external tools. 2. No installation of Office package or any third party applications required. 3. The output pdf file is saved back to your M-Files itself, you can change it's class to any other document class you want. 4. Using the re-order feature, you specify the orders of the documents to be followed in the output file. Disadvantages: 1. When different types of documents are merged together, the alignments of pages may change in the output pdf file, ex : when xlsx and doc are converted and merged together, the pages may have different widths, since xlsx had different page widths. 2. Very huge files conversion may fail sometime, Like above 500 mb. |
